Supporting AB UK

Our 2025 partner is AB UK, a Wigan based charity supporting children, young people, and adults with autism and additional needs.

After a board wide vote and in person visits, our board selected AB UK for its passion, community impact, and clear opportunities where business skills and services make a lasting difference.

Throughout the year, we will work alongside AB UK to deliver practical support that strengthens the charity and the community it serves.

Pre-Register a Nomination

Nominations can be submitted by local business owners, charity trustees, volunteers, or members of the Wigan community. Any registered charity, CIC, or non-profit operating within Wigan Borough is eligible.

No. 100% of services, IT equipment, building refurbishments, and volunteer hours donated by member businesses are completely free of charge to the Charity of the Year.

After nominations close, our 17 board members review all entries, conduct site visits, and vote on a charity where our combined technical, construction, legal, and marketing skills can achieve the highest practical impact.

We welcome local businesses of all sizes across Wigan Borough! You can apply via our 3-Step Smart Onboarding Wizard on the Contact page, selecting the specific skills or services your team can contribute.
